In the fourth quarter of 2020, the air travel app sector saw varied performance across some of the major applications on the Android platform in Europe. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the download numbers, revenue, and weekly active users for these apps.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker, a popular app for tracking flights, saw its downloads decrease slightly from 37K to 32K over the quarter. Weekly active users started at 378K and dipped to 359K by the end of December. The app's revenue also showed a downward trend, ending the quarter at around $28K after peaking at $39K in late September.

Ryanair, the budget airline's official app, experienced a decrease in downloads from 38K in late September to 20K by the end of December. Its weekly active users declined from 354K to 279K over the same period.

Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save also saw a decline in both downloads and active users. Downloads fell from 20K to around 11K, while active users dropped from 148K to 119K during the quarter.

Pegasus: Cheap Flight Tickets showed a similar trend with downloads decreasing from 13K to 9K. Weekly active users started at 70K and ended at 62K by the close of Q4.

Turkish Airlines Flight Ticket downloads varied less than other apps, maintaining numbers just below 9K after starting the quarter at 12K. Active users for the app saw a slight decrease from 45K to 36K.
